حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا يَلْبَسُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ ؟ , قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَا يَلْبَسُ الْقُمُصَ , وَلَا الْعَمَائِمَ , وَلَا السَّرَاوِيلَاتِ , وَلَا الْبَرَانِسَ , وَلَا الْخِفَافَ ، إِلَّا أَحَدٌ لَا يَجِدُ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ ، وَلَا تَلْبَسُوا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ شَيْئًا مَسَّهُ الزَّعْفَرَانُ أَوْ وَرْسٌ .
ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں امام مالک نے خبر دی، انہیں نافع نے اور انہیں عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ ایک شخص نے پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ! محرم کو کس طرح کا کپڑا پہننا چاہئے؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا نہ کرتہ پہنے، نہ عمامہ باندھے، نہ پاجامہ پہنے، نہ باران کوٹ، نہ موزے۔ لیکن اگر اس کے پاس جوتی نہ ہو تو وہ موزے اس وقت پہن سکتا ہے جب ٹخنوں کے نیچے سے ان کو کاٹ لیا ہو۔ ( اور احرام میں ) کوئی ایسا کپڑا نہ پہنو جس میں زعفران یا ورس لگا ہوا ہو۔ ابوعبداللہ امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ نے کہا کہ محرم اپنا سر دھو سکتا ہے لیکن کنگھا نہ کرے۔ بدن بھی نہ کھجلانا چاہئے او جوں سر اور بدن سے نکال کر زمین پر ڈالی جا سکتی ہے۔
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: A man asked, O Allah's Apostle! What kind of clothes should a Muhrim wear? Allah's Apostle replied, He should not wear a shirt, a turban, trousers, a headcloak or leather socks except if he can find no slippers, he then may wear leather socks after cutting off what might cover the ankles. And he should not wear clothes which are scented with saffron or Wars (kinds of Perfumes) .

Hadith 1513
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Prophet replied, Yes, you may. That happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet ).
