حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا تُوَاصِلُوا ، قَالُوا: فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِكُمْ، إِنَّ رَبِّي يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِي . قَالَ: وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَعَائِشَةَ، وَابْنِ عُمَرَ، وَجَابِرٍ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، وَبَشِيرِ ابْنِ الْخَصَاصِيَةِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ كَرِهُوا الْوِصَالَ فِي الصِّيَامِ، وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُوَاصِلُ الْأَيَّامَ وَلَا يُفْطِرُ.
انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”صوم وصال ۱؎ مت رکھو“، لوگوں نے عرض کیا: آپ تو رکھتے ہیں؟ اللہ کے رسول! آپ نے فرمایا: ”میں تمہاری طرح نہیں ہوں۔ میرا رب مجھے کھلاتا پلاتا ہے“ ۲؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- انس کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں علی، ابوہریرہ، عائشہ، ابن عمر، جابر، ابو سعید خدری، اور بشیر بن خصاصیہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے، وہ بغیر افطار کیے لگاتار روزے رکھنے کو مکروہ کہتے ہیں، ۴- عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی الله عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ وہ کئی دنوں کو ملا لیتے تھے ( درمیان میں ) افطار نہیں کرتے تھے۔
Anas narrated that : the Messenger of Allah said: Do not perform Wisal They said: But you perform Wisal O Messenger of Allah. He said: I am not like you are, indeed my Lord feeds me and gives me to drink.

Hadith 682
Abu Hurairah narrated that : the Messenger of Allah said: On the first night of the month of Ramadan, the Shayatin are shackled, the jinns are restrained, the gates of the Fires are shut such that no gate among them would be opened. The gates of Paradise are opened such that no gate among them would be closed, and a caller calls: 'O seeker of the good; come near!' and 'O seeker of evil; stop! For there are those whom Allah frees from the Fire.' And that is every night.
