حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكِنْدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَاب، أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، قَال: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، فَقَالَ: اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَصَلُّوا خَمْسَكُمْ وَصُومُوا شَهْرَكُمْ وَأَدُّوا زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَطِيعُوا ذَا أَمْرِكُمْ تَدْخُلُوا جَنَّةَ رَبِّكُمْ . قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي أُمَامَةَ مُنْذُ كَمْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ وَأَنَا ابْنُ ثَلَاثِينَ سَنَةً. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
سلیم بن عامر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابوامامہ رضی الله عنہ کو کہتے سنا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر خطبہ دیتے سنا، آپ نے فرمایا: ”تم اپنے رب اللہ سے ڈرو، پانچ وقت کی نماز پڑھو، ماہ رمضان کے روزے رکھو، اپنے مال کی زکاۃ ادا کرو، اور امیر کی اطاعت کرو، اس سے تم اپنے رب کی جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ گے“۔ میں نے ابوامامہ رضی الله عنہ سے پوچھا: آپ نے کتنے برس کی عمر میں یہ حدیث رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: میں نے آپ سے یہ حدیث اس وقت سنی جب میں تیس برس کا تھا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
Sulaim bin Amir narrated: I heard Abu Umamah saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah giving a Khutbah during the Farewell Hajj, and he said: 'Have Taqwa of your Lord, and pray your five (prayers), and fast your month, and pay the Zakat on your wealth, and obey thosewho are in charge of you, you will enter the Paradise of your Lord.' He said: I said to Abu Umamah: 'How old were you when you heard this Hadith (from the Messenger of Allah)?' He said: 'I heard it when I was thirty years old.'
