حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مُخَوَّلِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ: الم تَنْزِيلُ السَّجْدَةَ وَ هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ . قَالَ: وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ سَعْدٍ، وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، وَشُعْبَةُ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ مُخَوَّلٍ.
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جمعہ کے دن فجر کی نماز میں «الم تنزيل السجدةَ»، «هل أتى على الإنسان» پڑھتے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابن عباس رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں سعد، ابن مسعود اور ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- سفیان ثوری، شعبہ اور کئی لوگوں نے بھی یہ حدیث مخول بن راشد سے روایت کی ہے۔
Ibn Abbas narrated: For the Fajr prayer on Friday, Allah's Messenger would recite: Alif Lam Mem (which is) revealed in (Surat) As-Sajdah and, Has there not been over man.

Abu Hurairah said: I met Abdullah bin Salam, and I mentioned this Hadith to him. He said: 'I am more knowledgeable about that hour.' So I said: 'Inform me about it, and do not keep any of it from me.' He said: 'It is after al-Asr until the sun has set.' I said: 'How can it be after Al-Asr when Allah's Messenger said: ' the Muslim worshipper would not stand in Salat.' And that is a time that prayer is not performed in? So Abdullah bin Salam said: 'Didn't Allah's Messenger say: Whoever sat in a gathering awaiting the Salat then he is in Salat ? I said: 'Of course.' He said: 'Then that is it.'
