حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكَلَّمُ بِالْحَاجَةِ إِذَا نَزَلَ عَنِ الْمِنْبَرِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ. قَالَ: وسَمِعْت مُحَمَّدًا، يَقُولُ: وَهِمَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، وَالصَّحِيحُ مَا رُوِيَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَأَخَذَ رَجُلٌ بِيَدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَمَا زَالَ يُكَلِّمُهُ حَتَّى نَعَسَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ . قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: وَالْحَدِيثُ هُوَ هَذَا. وَجَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ رُبَّمَا يَهِمُ فِي الشَّيْءِ، وَهُوَ صَدُوقٌ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: وَهِمَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ فِي حَدِيثِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلَا تَقُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْنِي . قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: وَيُرْوَى عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ فَحَدَّثَ حَجَّاجٌ، الصَّوَّافُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلَا تَقُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْنِي فَوَهِمَ جَرِيرٌ فَظَنَّ أَنَّ ثَابِتًا حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
انس بن مالک رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ضرورت کی بات اس وقت کرتے جب آپ منبر سے اترتے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ہم اس حدیث کو صرف جریر بن حازم کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، اور میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کو کہتے سنا کہ جریر بن حازم کو اس حدیث میں وہم ہوا ہے، اور صحیح وہی ہے جو بطریق: «ثابت عن أنس» مروی ہے، انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نماز کھڑی ہوئی اور ایک آدمی نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ہاتھ پکڑا تو آپ برابر اس سے گفتگو کرتے رہے یہاں تک کہ بعض لوگوں کو اونگھ آنے لگی۔ محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کہتے ہیں: حدیث یہی ہے، اور جریر کو کبھی کبھی وہم ہو جاتا ہے حالانکہ وہ صدوق ہیں۔ محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کہتے ہیں کہ جریر بن حازم کو ثابت کی حدیث میں ( بھی ) جسے ثابت نے انس سے اور انس نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ہے وہم ہوا ہے ( جو یہ ہے کہ ) آپ نے فرمایا: جب نماز کھڑی ہو جائے تو تم اس وقت تک نہ کھڑے ہو جب تک کہ مجھے نہ دیکھ لو۔ محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کہتے ہیں: نیز حماد بن زید سے روایت کی جاتی ہے کہ ہم لوگ ثابت بنانی کے پاس تھے، اور حجاج صواف نے یحییٰ ابن ابی کثیر کے واسطہ سے حدیث بیان کی، جسے یحییٰ نے عبداللہ بن ابوقتادہ سے اور عبداللہ نے اپنے والد ابوقتادہ سے اور ابوقتادہ رضی الله عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ”جب نماز کھڑی ہو جائے تو تم کھڑے نہ ہو جب تک کہ مجھے نہ دیکھ لو“ چنانچہ جریر کو وہم ہوا، انہیں گمان ہوا کہ ثابت نے ان سے بیان کیا ہے اور ثابت نے انس سے اور انس نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ہے۔

Abu Hurairah said: I met Abdullah bin Salam, and I mentioned this Hadith to him. He said: 'I am more knowledgeable about that hour.' So I said: 'Inform me about it, and do not keep any of it from me.' He said: 'It is after al-Asr until the sun has set.' I said: 'How can it be after Al-Asr when Allah's Messenger said: ' the Muslim worshipper would not stand in Salat.' And that is a time that prayer is not performed in? So Abdullah bin Salam said: 'Didn't Allah's Messenger say: Whoever sat in a gathering awaiting the Salat then he is in Salat ? I said: 'Of course.' He said: 'Then that is it.'
