حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ السِّمْنَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَوْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ابْنَ آدَمَ ارْكَعْ لِي مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ أَكْفِكَ آخِرَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ.

ابو الدرداء رضی الله عنہ یا ابوذر رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: اے ابن آدم! تو دن کے شروع میں میری رضا کے لیے چار رکعتیں پڑھا کر، میں پورے دن تمہارے لیے کافی ہوں گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے۔

Jubair narrated from Abu Ad-Darda, or Abu Dharr, that : Allah's Messenger narrated that Allah, Blessed and Most High said: Son of Adam: Perform four Rak'ah for Me in the beginning of the day it will suffice you for the latter part of it.
