حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِحَرَّةِ السُّقْيَا الَّتِي كَانَتْ لِسَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ائْتُونِي بِوَضُوءٍ ، فَتَوَضَّأَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ ثُمَّ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ كَانَ عَبْدَكَ وَخَلِيلَكَ، وَدَعَا لِأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ بِالْبَرَكَةِ، وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ أَدْعُوكَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ أَنْ تُبَارِكَ لَهُمْ فِي مُدِّهِمْ، وَصَاعِهِمْ مِثْلَيْ مَا بَارَكْتَ لِأَهْلِ مَكَّةَ مَعَ الْبَرَكَةِ بَرَكَتَيْنِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، قَالَ: وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ.
علی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نکلے یہاں تک کہ جب ہم حرہ سقیا ۱؎ میں پہنچے جو سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی الله عنہ کا محلہ تھا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «اللهم إن إبراهيم كان عبدك وخليلك ودعا لأهل مكة بالبركة وأنا عبدك ورسولك أدعوك لأهل المدينة أن تبارك لهم في مدهم وصاعهم مثلي ما باركت لأهل مكة مع البركة بركتين» ”مجھے وضو کا پانی دو“، چنانچہ آپ نے وضو کیا، پھر آپ قبلہ رخ کھڑے ہوئے اور فرمایا: ”اے اللہ! ابراہیم تیرے بندے اور تیرے دوست ہیں اور انہوں نے اہل مکہ کے لیے برکت کی دعا فرمائی، اور میں تیرا بندہ اور تیرا رسول ہوں، اور تجھ سے اہل مدینہ کے لیے دعا کرتا ہوں کہ تو ان کے مد اور ان کی صاع میں اہل مکہ کو جو تو نے برکت دی ہے اس کی دوگنا برکت فرما، اور ہر برکت کے ساتھ دو برکتیں ( یعنی اہل مکہ کی دوگنی برکت عطا فرما ۲؎ ) “۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عائشہ، عبداللہ بن زید اور ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہم سے احادیث آئی ہیں۔
Narrated 'Ali bin Abi Talib: We departed with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) until he was at Harrah As-Suqya which belonged to Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Bring me water for Wudu.' So he performed Wudu, then he faced the Qiblah and said: 'O Allah! Indeed Ibrahim was Your servant and Your Khalil, and he supplicated for blessings for the people of Makkah. And I am Your servant and Messenger, and I supplicate for the people of Al-Madinah; that You bless them in their Mudd and their Sa' like You blessed the people of Makkah, for each blessing let there be two blessings.

Indeed the Quraish have sat and spoken between themselves about the best of them, and they made your likeness as that of a palm tree in a wasteland.' So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Indeed, Allah created the creation and made me [from the best of them,] from the best of their categories, and the best of the two categories (Arabs and Non-Arabs), then He chose between the tribes and made me from the best tribe, then He chose between the houses and made me from the best house. So I am the best of them in person and the best of them in house.'

Narrated Al-Muttalib bin Abi Wada'ah: Al-Abbas came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and it is as if he heard something, so the Prophet (ﷺ) stood upon the Minbar and said: 'Who am I?' They said: 'You are the Messenger of Allah, upon you be peace.' He said: 'I am Muhammad bin 'Abdullah bin 'Abdul-Muttalib, indeed Allah created the creation, and He put me in the best [group] of them, then He made them into two groups, so He put me in the best group of them, then He made them into tribes, so He put me in the best of them in tribe, then He made them into houses, so He put me in the best of them in tribe and lineage.'
