حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مِسْمَارٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَهُ فِي نَفَرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: عَشَرَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ: أَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَعُمَرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَعُثْمَانُ، وَعَلِيٌّ، وَالزُّبَيْرُ، وَطَلْحَةُ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَأَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ، وَسَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، قَالَ: فَعَدَّ هَؤُلَاءِ التِّسْعَةَ وَسَكَتَ عَنِ الْعَاشِرِ، فَقَالَ الْقَوْمُ: نَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ يَا أَبَا الْأَعْوَرِ مَنِ الْعَاشِرُ ؟ قَالَ: نَشَدْتُمُونِي بِاللَّهِ أَبُو الْأَعْوَرِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: أَبُو الْأَعْوَرِ هُوَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ، وَسَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدًا يَقُولُ: هُوَ أَصَحُّ مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ الْأَوَّلِ.
حمید سے روایت ہے کہ سعید بن زید رضی الله عنہ نے ان سے کئی اشخاص کی موجودگی میں بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”دس آدمی جنتی ہیں، ابوبکر جنتی ہیں، عمر جنتی ہیں عثمان، علی، زبیر، طلحہ، عبدالرحمٰن، ابوعبیدہ اور سعد بن ابی وقاص ( جنتی ہیں ) “ وہ کہتے ہیں: تو انہوں نے ان نو ( ۹ ) کو گن کر بتایا اور دسویں آدمی کے بارے میں خاموش رہے، تو لوگوں نے کہا: اے ابوالاعور ہم اللہ کا واسطہ دے کر آپ سے پوچھ رہے ہیں کہ دسواں کون ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: تم لوگوں نے اللہ کا واسطہ دے کر پوچھا ہے ( اس لیے میں بتا رہا ہوں ) ابوالاعور جنتی ہیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- میں نے محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کو کہتے سنا ہے کہ یہ پہلی حدیث سے زیادہ صحیح ہے، ۲- ابوالاعور سے مراد خود سعید بن زید بن عمرو بن نفیل ہیں۔
Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Humaid: from his father, that Sa'eed bin Zaid reported to him, while in a group of people, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Ten are in Paradise: Abu Bakr is in Paradise, 'Umar is in Paradise, 'Uthman is in Paradise, Az-Zubair and Talhah, 'Abdur-Rahman, Abu 'Ubaidah and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas - He said: So he counted these nine and was silent concerning the tenth - so the people said: 'We implore you by Allah, O Abu Al-A'war, who is the tenth?' He said: 'You have implored me by Allah. Abu Al-A'war is in Paradise.'

Indeed the Quraish have sat and spoken between themselves about the best of them, and they made your likeness as that of a palm tree in a wasteland.' So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Indeed, Allah created the creation and made me [from the best of them,] from the best of their categories, and the best of the two categories (Arabs and Non-Arabs), then He chose between the tribes and made me from the best tribe, then He chose between the houses and made me from the best house. So I am the best of them in person and the best of them in house.'

Narrated Al-Muttalib bin Abi Wada'ah: Al-Abbas came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and it is as if he heard something, so the Prophet (ﷺ) stood upon the Minbar and said: 'Who am I?' They said: 'You are the Messenger of Allah, upon you be peace.' He said: 'I am Muhammad bin 'Abdullah bin 'Abdul-Muttalib, indeed Allah created the creation, and He put me in the best [group] of them, then He made them into two groups, so He put me in the best group of them, then He made them into tribes, so He put me in the best of them in tribe, then He made them into houses, so He put me in the best of them in tribe and lineage.'
