حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ فِي قَوْلِهِ:‏‏‏‏ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً سورة البقرة آية 201، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي الدُّنْيَا الْعِلْمُ وَالْعِبَادَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ الْجَنَّةُ.

  اللہ تعالیٰ کی اس آیت: «ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة» کے بارے میں حسن سے مروی ہے، دنیا میں «حسنہ» سے مراد علم اور عبادت ہے، اور آخرت میں «حسنہ» سے مراد جنت ہے۔

Hisham bin Hassan narrated from Al-Hasan : concerning the saying of Allah: O our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the Hereafter. He said: “Knowledge and worship in this world, and Paradise in the Hereafter.”

Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (ra) said: “We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a military expedition. When we returned, we overlooked Al-Madinah, and the people were pronouncing the Takbīr, and they raised their voices with it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Verily, your Lord is not deaf nor absent, He is between you and between the heads of your mounts.’ Then he said: ‘O `Abdullah bin Qais, should I not inform you of a treasure from the treasures of Paradise: Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh (There is no might or power except by Allah).’”
