حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا يَدْعُو فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: عَجِلَ هَذَا ، ثُمَّ دَعَاهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ: إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِتَحْمِيدِ اللَّهِ وَالثَّنَاءِ عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ لَيُصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ لَيَدْعُ بَعْدُ بِمَا شَاءَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
فضالہ بن عبید رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو نماز کے اندر ۱؎ دعا کرتے ہوئے سنا، اس نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر صلاۃ ( درود ) نہ بھیجا، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اس نے جلدی کی“، پھر آپ نے اسے بلایا، اور اس سے اور اس کے علاوہ دوسروں کو خطاب کر کے فرمایا، ”جب تم میں سے کوئی بھی نماز پڑھ چکے ۲؎ تو اسے چاہیئے کہ وہ پہلے اللہ کی حمد و ثنا بیان کرے، پھر نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر صلاۃ ( درود ) بھیجے، پھر اس کے بعد وہ جو چاہے دعا مانگے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
`Amr bin Malik Al-Janbi narrated that he heard Fadalah bin `Ubaid saying: “The Prophet (ﷺ) heard a man supplicating in his Salat but he did not send Salat upon the Prophet (ﷺ), so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘This one has rushed.’ Then he called him and said to him, or to someone other than him: ‘When one of you performs Salat, then let him begin by expressing gratitude to Allah and praising Him. Then, let him send Salat upon the Prophet (ﷺ), then let him supplicate after that, whatever he wishes.’”

When we returned, we overlooked Al-Madinah, and the people were pronouncing the Takbīr, and they raised their voices with it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Verily, your Lord is not deaf nor absent, He is between you and between the heads of your mounts.’ Then he said: ‘O `Abdullah bin Qais, should I not inform you of a treasure from the treasures of Paradise: Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh (There is no might or power except by Allah).’”
