حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: اسْتَبَّ رَجُلَانِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى عُرِفَ الْغَضَبُ فِي وَجْهِ أَحَدِهِمَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَذَهَبَ غَضَبُهُ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ ، وفي الباب، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ
معاذ بن جبل رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ دو آدمیوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے آپس میں گالی گلوچ کیا ان میں سے ایک کے چہرے سے غصہ عیاں ہو رہا تھا، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں ایک ایسا کلمہ جانتا ہوں کہ اگر وہ اس کلمے کو کہہ لے تو اس کا غصہ کافور ہو جائے، وہ کلمہ یہ ہے: «أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم» ”میں اللہ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں راندے ہوئے شیطان سے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- اس باب میں سلیمان بن سرد سے بھی روایت ہے، اور یہ حدیث مرسل ( منقطع ) ہے۔
Mu`adh bin Jabal narrated : that one of the two men cursed the other next to the Prophet (ﷺ), until anger could be recognized in the face of one of them. So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Verily, I know a statement, that if he were to say it, his anger would leave: ‘I seek refuge in Allah from Shaitan, the rejected (A`ūdhu billāhi minash-shaiṭānir-rajīm).’”

Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (ra) said: “We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a military expedition. When we returned, we overlooked Al-Madinah, and the people were pronouncing the Takbīr, and they raised their voices with it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Verily, your Lord is not deaf nor absent, He is between you and between the heads of your mounts.’ Then he said: ‘O `Abdullah bin Qais, should I not inform you of a treasure from the treasures of Paradise: Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh (There is no might or power except by Allah).’”
