حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي أُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَزَوِّدْنِي، قَالَ: زَوَّدَكَ اللَّهُ التَّقْوَى ، قَالَ: زِدْنِي، قَالَ: وَغَفَرَ ذَنْبَكَ ، قَالَ: زِدْنِي بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي، قَالَ: وَيَسَّرَ لَكَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْتَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ.
انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آ کر عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں سفر پر نکلنے کا ارادہ کر رہا ہوں، تو آپ مجھے کوئی توشہ دے دیجئیے، آپ نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تجھے تقویٰ کا زاد سفر دے“، اس نے کہا: مزید اضافہ فرما دیجئیے، آپ نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تمہارے گناہ معاف کر دے“، اس نے کہا: مزید کچھ اضافہ فرما دیجئیے، میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان ہوں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”جہاں کہیں بھی تم رہو اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارے لیے خیر ( بھلائی کے کام ) آسان کر دے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے۔
Anas said: “A man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: ‘I intend to undertake a journey, so give me provision. He said: ‘May Allah grant you Taqwa as your provision (Zawwadak Allāhut-taqwā).’ He said: ‘Give me more.’ He said: ‘And may He forgive your sin (Wa ghafara dhanbak).’ He said: ‘Give me more, may my father be ransomed for you, and my mother.’ He said: ‘And may He make goodness easy for you wherever you are (Wa yassara lakal-khaira ḥaithu mā kunt).’”

When we returned, we overlooked Al-Madinah, and the people were pronouncing the Takbīr, and they raised their voices with it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Verily, your Lord is not deaf nor absent, He is between you and between the heads of your mounts.’ Then he said: ‘O `Abdullah bin Qais, should I not inform you of a treasure from the treasures of Paradise: Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh (There is no might or power except by Allah).’”
