حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَنَامُ حَتَّى يَقْرَأَ: بِتَنْزِيلُ السَّجْدَةِ، وَبِتَبَارَكَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَكَذَا رَوَى سُفْيَانُ، وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، نَحْوَهُ، وَقَدْ رَوَى زُهَيْرٌ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لَهُ: سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ جَابِرٍ ؟ قَالَ: لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ جَابِرٍ، إِنَّمَا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ صَفْوَانَ أَوْ ابْنِ صَفْوَانَ، وَقَدْ رَوَى شَبَابَةُ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ لَيْثٍ.
جابر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس وقت تک سوتے نہ تھے جب تک کہ سونے سے پہلے آپ سورۃ «سجدہ» اور سورۃ «تبارک الذی» ( یعنی سورۃ الملک ) پڑھ نہ لیتے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- سفیان ( ثوری ) اور کچھ دوسرے لوگوں نے بھی یہ حدیث لیث سے، لیث نے ابوالزبیر سے، ابوالزبیر نے جابر کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی طرح روایت کی ہے، ۲- زہیر نے بھی یہ حدیث ابوالزبیر سے روایت کی ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ان سے کہا: کیا آپ نے یہ حدیث جابر سے ( خود ) سنی ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے یہ حدیث جابر سے نہیں سنی ہے، میں نے یہ حدیث صفوان یا ابن صفوان سے سنی ہے، ۳- شبابہ نے مغیرہ بن مسلم سے، مغیرہ نے ابوالزبیر سے اور ابوالزبیر نے جابر سے لیث کی حدیث کی طرح روایت کی ہے۔
Jabir said: “The Prophet would not sleep until he reached Tanzil as-Sajdah and Tabarak.”

Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (ra) said: “We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a military expedition. When we returned, we overlooked Al-Madinah, and the people were pronouncing the Takbīr, and they raised their voices with it. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Verily, your Lord is not deaf nor absent, He is between you and between the heads of your mounts.’ Then he said: ‘O `Abdullah bin Qais, should I not inform you of a treasure from the treasures of Paradise: Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh (There is no might or power except by Allah).’”
