حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ سورة التكاثر آية 8، قَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَأَيُّ النَّعِيمِ نُسْأَلُ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّمَا هُمَا الْأَسْوَدَانِ التَّمْرُ وَالْمَاءُ ؟ قَالَ: أَمَا إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ . قال: هذا حديث حَسَنٌ.
زبیر بن عوام رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب آیت «ثم لتسألن يومئذ عن النعيم» ”اس دن تم سے ضرور بالضرور نعمتوں کا سوال ہو گا“ ( التکاثر: ۸ ) ، نازل ہوئی تو زبیر رضی الله عنہ نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! کن نعمتوں کے بارے میں ہم سے پوچھا جائے گا؟ ہمیں تو صرف دو ہی ( کالی ) نعمتیں حاصل ہیں، ایک کھجور اور دوسرے پانی ۱؎ آپ نے فرمایا: ”عنقریب وہ بھی ہو جائیں گی“ ۲؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن ہے۔
Abdullah bin Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam narrated from his father who said: “When the following was revealed: Then on that Day, you shall be asked about the delights!’ Az-Zubair said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Which are the delights that we will be asked about, when they (delights) are but the two black things: dates and water?’ He said: ‘But it is what shall come.’”
