حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، فَإِذَا قَالُوهَا عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُذَكِّرٌ 21 لَسْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِمُسَيْطِرٍ 22 سورة الغاشية آية 21-22 . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
جابر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مجھے حکم ملا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک لڑوں ( جنگ جاری رکھو ) جب تک کہ لوگ «لا إلہ إلا اللہ» کہنے نہ لگ جائیں، جب لوگ اس کلمے کو کہنے لگ جائیں تو وہ اپنے خون اور مال کو مجھ سے محفوظ کر لیں گے، سوائے اس صورت کے جب کہ جان و مال دینا حق بن جائے تو پھر دینا ہی پڑے گا، اور ان کا ( حقیقی ) حساب تو اللہ ہی لے گا، پھر آپ نے آیت «إنما أنت مذكر لست عليهم بمصيطر» ”آپ صرف نصیحت کرنے والے ہیں آپ کچھ ان پر داروغہ نہیں ہیں“ ( الغاشیہ: ۲۲ ) ، پڑھی“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
Jabir narrated that : the Messenger of Allah said: “I have been ordered to fight the people until they say: ‘La ilaha illallah’. So when they say that, their blood and their wealth are safe from me, except for a right, and their reckoning is for Allah.” Then he recited: So remind them – you are only one who reminds. You are not a dictator over them.
