حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حميد، وغير واحد، المعنى واحد، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْقَارِيِّ، قَال: سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيُ سُمِعَ عِنْدَ وَجْهِهِ كَدَوِيِّ النَّحْلِ، فَأُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمًا فَمَكَثْنَا سَاعَةً، فَسُرِّيَ عَنْهُ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ زِدْنَا وَلَا تَنْقُصْنَا، وَأَكْرِمْنَا وَلَا تُهِنَّا، وَأَعْطِنَا وَلَا تَحْرِمْنَا، وَآثِرْنَا وَلَا تُؤْثِرْ عَلَيْنَا، وَارْضِنَا وَارْضَ عَنَّا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ عَشْرُ آيَاتٍ مَنْ أَقَامَهُنَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى خَتَمَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ .
عبدالرحمٰن بن عبدالقاری کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عمر بن خطاب رضی الله عنہ کو کہتے ہوئے سنا۔ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر جب وحی نازل ہوتی تھی تو آپ کے منہ کے قریب شہد کی مکھی کے اڑنے کی طرح آواز ( بھنبھناہٹ ) سنائی پڑتی تھی۔ ( ایک دن کا واقعہ ہے ) آپ پر وحی نازل ہوئی ہم کچھ دیر ( خاموش ) ٹھہرے رہے، جب آپ سے نزول وحی کے وقت کی کیفیت ( تکلیف ) دور ہوئی تو آپ قبلہ رخ ہوئے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھا کر یہ دعا فرمائی: «اللهم زدنا ولا تنقصنا وأكرمنا ولا تهنا وأعطنا ولا تحرمنا وآثرنا ولا تؤثر علينا وارضنا وارض عنا» ”اے اللہ! ہم کو زیادہ دے، ہمیں دینے میں کمی نہ کر، ہم کو عزت دے، ہمیں ذلیل و رسوا نہ کر، ہمیں اپنی نعمتوں سے نواز، اپنی نوازشات سے ہمیں محروم نہ رکھ، ہمیں ( اوروں ) پر فضیلت دے، اور دوسروں کو ہم پر فضیلت و تفوّق نہ دے، اور ہمیں راضی کر دے ( اپنی عبادت و بندگی کرنے کے لیے ) اور ہم سے راضی و خوش ہو جا“ پھر آپ نے فرمایا: مجھ پر دس آیتیں نازل ہوئی ہیں جو ان پر عمل کرتا رہے گا، وہ جنت میں جائے گا، پھر آپ نے «قد أفلح المؤمنون» ( سورۃ المومنون: ۱- ۱۰ ) سے شروع کر کے دس آیتیں مکمل تلاوت فرمائیں۔
Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab [may Allah be pleased with him]: When revelation came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), one could hear what sounded like the drone of bees before his face. One day revelation was coming to him, he faced the Qiblah, raised his hands and said: 'O Allah! Increase us, do not diminish us. Favor us, do not withhold from us, make us pleased and be pleased with us.' He (ﷺ) said: 'Ten Ayah were revealed to me, whoever abides by them shall enter Paradise (and they are): 'Successful indeed ar the believers...' until the completion of then Ayat (23:1-10).
