حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: لَمَّا كَذَّبَتْنِي قُرَيْشٌ قُمْتُ فِي الْحِجْرِ فَجَلا اللَّهُ لِي بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ، فَطَفِقْتُ أُخْبِرُهُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهِ وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، وَفِي الْبَابِ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ، وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ.
جابر بن عبداللہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب قریش نے مجھے ( معراج کے سفر کے بارے میں ) جھٹلا دیا کہ میں حجر ( حطیم ) میں کھڑا ہوا اور اللہ نے بیت المقدس کو میرے سامنے ظاہر کر دیا اور میں اسے دیکھ دیکھ کر انہیں اس کی نشانیاں ( پہچان ) بتانے لگا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں مالک بن صعصعہ ابوسعید، ابن عباس، ابوذر اور ابن مسعود رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When the Quraish belied me, I stood in the Hijr, and Allah displayed Bait Al-Maqdis to me, so I informed them of its features as I was looking at it.
