حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى الْبَكَّاءِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَال: سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، يَقُول: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَرْبَعٌ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ بَعْدَ الزَّوَالِ تُحْسَبُ بِمِثْلِهِنَّ فِي صَلَاةِ السَّحَرِ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: وَلَيْسَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا وَيُسَبِّحُ اللَّهَ تِلْكَ السَّاعَةَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ يَتَفَيَّأُ ظِلالُهُ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَالشَّمَائِلِ سُجَّدًا لِلَّهِ وَهُمْ دَاخِرُونَ سورة النحل آية 48 الْآيَةَ كُلَّهَا ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ.
عمر بن خطاب رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”زوال یعنی سورج ڈھلنے کے بعد ظہر کی نماز سے پہلے چار رکعتیں سحر ( تہجد ) کی چار رکعتوں کے ثواب کے برابر کا درجہ رکھتی ہیں“، آپ نے فرمایا: ”کوئی بھی چیز ایسی نہیں ہے جو اس گھڑی ( یعنی زوال کے وقت ) اللہ کی تسبیح نہ بیان کرتی ہو“۔ پھر آپ نے آیت «يتفيأ ظلاله عن اليمين والشمائل سجدا لله وهم داخرون» ”کیا یہ لوگ اللہ کی پیدا کی ہوئی چیزوں کو نہیں دیکھتے ان کے سائے دائیں اور بائیں اللہ کی اطاعت کرتے ہوئے جھکتے ہیں“ ( النحل: ۴۸ ) ، پڑھی“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث غریب ہے، اسے ہم صرف علی بن عاصم کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں۔
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: I heard 'Umar bin Al-Khattab saying: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Four before Zuhr, after the zenith, are reckoned with their like from Salat As-Sahr (meaning the reward is like that of the two Sunan and obligatory Rak'ah of Fajr). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There is nothing but that it glorifies Allah at that hour. Then he recited the Ayah: Their shadows shift from right to left, prostrating to Allah while they are humble (16:48).
