حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَلَا فِي الْإِنْجِيلِ مِثْلَ أُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ وَهِيَ السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي، وَهِيَ مَقْسُومَةٌ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ .
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ابی بن کعب کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ نے تو رات میں اور نہ ہی انجیل میں ام القرآن ( فاتحہ ) جیسی کوئی سورۃ نازل فرمائی ہے، اور یہ سات آیتیں ہیں جو ( ہر رکعت میں پڑھی جانے کی وجہ سے ) باربار دہرائی جانے والی ہیں، اور اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے کہ یہ میرے اور میرے بندے کے درمیان تقسیم ہیں اور میرے بندے کے لیے وہ سب کچھ ہے جو وہ مانگے“۔
Narrated Ubayy bin Ka'b: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah has not revealed the likes of Umm Al-Kitab in the Tawrah, nor the Injil. It is the seven oft-repeated, and (Allah said) 'It is divided between Myself and My slave, and My slave shall have what he asks for.'
