حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَيْدَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى:‏‏‏‏ يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ سورة إبراهيم آية 27 قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي الْقَبْرِ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ مَنْ رَبُّكَ وَمَا دِينُكَ وَمَنْ نَبِيُّكَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

براء بن عازب رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے آیت «يثبت الله الذين آمنوا بالقول الثابت في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة» ”اللہ ان لوگوں کو جو ایمان لائے ہیں، قول ثابت ( محکم بات ) کے ذریعہ دنیا و آخرت دونوں میں ثابت قدم رکھتا ہے“ ( ابراہیم: ۲۷ ) ، کی تفسیر میں فرمایا: ”ثابت رکھنے سے مراد قبر میں اس وقت ثابت رکھنا ہے جب قبر میں پوچھا جائے گا: «من ربك؟» ‏‏‏‏ تمہارا رب، معبود کون ہے؟ «وما دينك؟» ‏‏‏‏ تمہارا دین کیا ہے؟ «ومن نبيك؟» ‏‏‏‏ تمہارا نبی کون ہے؟“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

Narrated Al-Bara: that regarding Allah's saying: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world and in the Hereafter (14:27). The Prophet (ﷺ) said: In the grave, when it is said to him: 'Who is your Lord? What is your religion? And who is your Prophet?'
