حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَقْرَأَ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَرَأْتُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ سُورَةِ النِّسَاءِ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغْتُ فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلَى هَؤُلاءِ شَهِيدًا سورة النساء آية 41، غَمَزَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ وَعَيْنَاهُ تَدْمَعَانِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَكَذَا رَوَى أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ.
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر تشریف فرما تھے، آپ نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ میں آپ کو قرآن پڑھ کر سناؤں، چنانچہ میں نے آپ کے سامنے سورۃ نساء میں سے تلاوت کی، جب میں آیت «فكيف إذا جئنا من كل أمة بشهيد وجئنا بك على هؤلاء شهيدا» ۱؎ پر پہنچا تو رسول اللہ نے مجھے ہاتھ سے اشارہ کیا ( کہ بس کرو، آگے نہ پڑھو ) میں نے نظر اٹھا کر دیکھا تو آپ کی دونوں آنکھیں آنسو بہا رہی تھیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ابولأحوص نے اعمش سے، اعمش نے ابراہیم سے اور ابراہیم نے علقمہ کے واسطہ سے، عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی الله عنہ سے اسی طرح روایت کی ہے، اور حقیقت میں وہ سند یوں ہے «إبراهيم عن عبيدة عن عبد الله» ( «عن علقمة» نہیں ) ۔
Narrated 'Alqamah: 'Abdullah said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded me to recite for him while he was on the Minbar. So I recited from Surat An-Nisa for him, until I reached: How then (will it be) when We bring from each nation a witness, and We bring you (Muhammad) as a witness against these people? (4:41) The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was beckoning me (to stop) with his hand, and I looked at him and his eyes were flowing with tears.
