حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَجَعَلْتُ أَنْظُرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا مِنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا يَمِيدُ تَحْتَ حَجَفَتِهِ مِنَ النُّعَاسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً نُعَاسًا سورة آل عمران آية 154 ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ.

ابوطلحہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   احد کی لڑائی کے دن میں اپنا سر بلند کر کے ( ادھر ادھر ) دیکھنے لگا، اس دن کوئی ایسا نہ تھا جس کا سر نیند سے ( بوجھل ) اپنے سینے کے نیچے جھکا نہ جا رہا ہو، اللہ تعالیٰ کے قول «ثم أنزل عليكم من بعد الغم أمنة نعاسا» ۱؎ کا مفہوم و مراد یہی ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

Narrated Anas: that Abu Talhah said: I raised my head to look around on the Day of Uhud, and there was not one of them that day except that he was swaying under his shield due to drowsiness. Allah said about that: Then He sent down upon you - after the distress - a slumber of security (3:154).
