حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، قَالَ: أَتَى عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أُوقِدُ تَحْتَ قِدْرٍ وَالْقَمْلُ يَتَنَاثَرُ عَلَى جَبْهَتِي، أَوْ قَالَ: حَاجِبَيَّ، فَقَالَ: أَتُؤْذِيكَ هَوَامُّ رَأْسِكَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَاحْلِقْ رَأْسَكَ وَانْسُكْ نَسِيكَةً، أَوْ صُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينَ، قَالَ أَيُّوبُ: لَا أَدْرِي بِأَيَّتِهِنَّ بَدَأَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
کعب بن عجرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس تشریف لائے۔ اس وقت میں ایک ہانڈی کے نیچے آگ جلا رہا تھا اور جوئیں میری پیشانی یا بھوؤں پر بکھر رہی تھیں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”کیا تمہارے سر کی جوئیں تمہیں تکلیف پہنچا رہی ہیں؟ میں نے کہا: جی ہاں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”اپنا سر مونڈ ڈالو اور بدلہ میں قربانی کر دو، یا تین دن روزہ رکھ لو، یا چھ مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلا دو“۔ ایوب ( راوی ) کہتے ہیں: مجھے یاد نہیں رہا کہ ( میرے استاذ نے ) کون سی چیز پہلے بتائی۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Laila: from Ka'b bin 'Ujrah who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to me while I was lighting a fire under a pot, and lice were falling on my face, or on my eye-brows. He said: 'Are your lice bothering you?' [He said:] I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then shave your head and offer a sacrifice, or fast three days, or feed six needy people.' Ayyub said: I do not know which of them he started with.
