حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ جَنَاحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: فَقِيهٌ أَشَدُّ عَلَى الشَّيْطَانِ مِنْ أَلْفِ عَابِدٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، وَلَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ.
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ایک فقیہ ( عالم ) ہزار عبادت کرنے والوں کے مقابلہ میں اکیلا شیطان پر حاوی اور بھاری ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث غریب ہے۔ ہم اسے ولید بن مسلم کی روایت سے صرف اسی سند جانتے ہیں۔
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The Faqih is harder on Ash-Shaitan than a thousand worshipers.
