ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے لوہے کے ہتھیار سے اپنی جان لی، وہ قیامت کے دن اس حال میں آئے گا کہ اس کے ہاتھ میں وہ ہتھیار ہو گا اور وہ اسے جہنم کی آگ میں ہمیشہ اپنے پیٹ میں گھونپکتا رہے گا، اور جس نے زہر کھا کر خودکشی کی، تو اس کے ہاتھ میں وہ زہر ہو گا، اور وہ جہنم کی آگ میں ہمیشہ اسے پیتا رہے گا“ ۱؎۔

Abu Hurairah narrated (from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w)): Whoever kills himself with (an instrument of)iron, he will come on the Day Of Judgment with his iron in his hand, to continually stab himself in his stomach with it, in the fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally. And whoever kills himself with poison, then his poison will be in his hand, to continually take it in the Fire of Jahannam, dwelling in that state eternally.
