حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ: مَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّ هَذَا يُبَلِّغُ الْأُمَرَاءَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ النَّاسِ، فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: وَالْقَتَّاتُ: النَّمَّامُ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
ہمام بن حارث کہتے ہیں کہ حذیفہ بن یمان رضی الله عنہ کے پاس سے ایک آدمی گزرا، ان سے کہا گیا کہ یہ شخص حکام کے پاس لوگوں کی باتیں پہنچاتا ہے، تو حذیفہ رضی الله عنہ نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: ”چغل خور جنت میں نہیں داخل ہو گا“ ۱؎۔ سفیان کہتے ہیں: «قتات»، «نمام» ”چغل خور“ کو کہتے ہیں۔ یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

He said: 'To join partners with Allah, and disobeying one's parents.' He said : He sat up, and he had been reclining. He said: 'And false testimony, or false speech.' And the Messenger of Allah would not stop saying it until we said (to ourselves): 'I wish that he would stop.'
