حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْسَجَةَ، يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ، يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ مَنَحَ مَنِيحَةَ لَبَنٍ أَوْ وَرِقٍ أَوْ هَدَى زُقَاقًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلَ عِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَقَدْ رَوَى مَنْصُورُ بْنُ الْمُعْتَمِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَشُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ مَنَحَ مَنِيحَةَ وَرِقٍ إِنَّمَا يَعْنِي بِهِ:‏‏‏‏ قَرْضَ الدَّرَاهِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَوْلُهُ:‏‏‏‏ أَوْ هَدَى زُقَاقًا يَعْنِي بِهِ:‏‏‏‏ هِدَايَةَ الطَّرِيقِ.

براء بن عازب رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ”جس شخص نے دودھ کا عطیہ دیا ۱؎، یا چاندی قرض دی، یا کسی کو راستہ بتایا، اسے غلام آزاد کرنے کے برابر ثواب ملے گا“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث ابواسحاق کی روایت سے جسے وہ طلحہ بن مصرف سے روایت کرتے ہیں حسن صحیح غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف اسی سند سے جانتے ہیں، ۲- منصور بن معتمر اور شعبہ نے بھی اس حدیث کی روایت طلحہ بن مصرف سے کیا ہے، ۳- اس باب میں نعمان بن بشیر رضی الله عنہما سے بھی حدیث آئی ہے، ۴- «من منح منيحة ورق» کا مطلب ہے بطور قرض دینا «هدى زقاقا» کا مطلب ہے راستہ دکھانا۔

Al-Bara bin Azib narrated that the Messenger of Allah said : Whoever gives someone some milk or silver, or guides him through a strait, then he will have the reward similar to freeing a slave.

Hadith 1897

Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father, from his grandfather who said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Who most deserves(my) reverence?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Then your father, then the nearest relatives, then the nearest relatives.'

Hadith 1898

Ibn Mas'ud said: I asked the Messenger of Allah: 'O Messenger of Allah! Which is the most virtuous of deeds?' He said: 'Salat during its appropriate time.' I said: 'Then what, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Being dutiful to one's parents.' I said: 'Then what, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Jihad in the cause of Allah.' Then the messenger of Allah was silent, and if I had asked him more, he would have told me more.'

Abu 'Abdur-Rahman As-Sulami narrated from Abu Ad Darda'.: He said that a man came and said : I have a wife whom my mother has ordered me to divorce. So Abu Ad-Darda said: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: 'The father is the middle gate to Paradise. So if you wish, then neglect that door, or protect it.'

Hadith 1901

Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah narrated from his father who said: The messenger of Allah said: 'Shall I not tell you of the biggest of the major sins?' they said : 'Of course! O Messenger of Allah!' He said: 'To join partners with Allah, and disobeying one's parents.' He said : He sat up, and he had been reclining. He said: 'And false testimony, or false speech.' And the Messenger of Allah would not stop saying it until we said (to ourselves): 'I wish that he would stop.'
