حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ. ح قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ، يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيَصُدُّ هَذَا وَيَصُدُّ هَذَا وَخَيْرُهُمَا الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ بِالسَّلَامِ ، قَالَ: وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، وَأَنَسٍ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَهِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، وَأَبِي هِنْدٍ الدَّارِيِّ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
ابوایوب انصاری رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کسی مسلمان کے لیے جائز نہیں کہ اپنے ( کسی دوسرے مسلمان ) بھائی سے تین دن سے زیادہ سلام کلام بند رکھے، جب دونوں کا آمنا سامنا ہو تو وہ اس سے منہ پھیر لے اور یہ اس سے منہ پھیر لے، اور ان دونوں میں بہتر وہ ہے جو پہلے سلام کرے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عبداللہ بن مسعود، انس، ابوہریرہ، ہشام بن عامر اور ابوہند داری رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: : It is not lawful for the Muslim to shun his brother for more than three (days); they come fare to fare and this one turns away, and that one turns away. The best of them is the one who initiates the Salam.

Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father, from his grandfather who said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Who most deserves(my) reverence?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Then your father, then the nearest relatives, then the nearest relatives.'

So Abu Ad-Darda said: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: 'The father is the middle gate to Paradise. So if you wish, then neglect that door, or protect it.'

Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah narrated from his father who said: The messenger of Allah said: 'Shall I not tell you of the biggest of the major sins?' they said : 'Of course! O Messenger of Allah!' He said: 'To join partners with Allah, and disobeying one's parents.' He said : He sat up, and he had been reclining. He said: 'And false testimony, or false speech.' And the Messenger of Allah would not stop saying it until we said (to ourselves): 'I wish that he would stop.'
