حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مَعَهَا ابْنَتَانِ لَهَا فَسَأَلَتْ فَلَمْ تَجِدْ عِنْدِي شَيْئًا غَيْرَ تَمْرَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَعْطَيْتُهَا إِيَّاهَا فَقَسَمَتْهَا بَيْنَ ابْنَتَيْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ تَأْكُلْ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ قَامَتْ فَخَرَجَتْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنِ ابْتُلِيَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبَنَاتِ كُنَّ لَهُ سِتْرًا مِنَ النَّارِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   میرے پاس ایک عورت آئی اور اس کے ساتھ اس کی دو بچیاں تھیں، اس نے ( کھانے کے لیے ) کوئی چیز مانگی مگر میرے پاس سے ایک کھجور کے سوا اسے کچھ نہیں ملا، چنانچہ اسے میں نے وہی دے دیا، اس عورت نے کھجور کو خود نہ کھا کر اسے اپنی دونوں لڑکیوں کے درمیان بانٹ دیا اور اٹھ کر چلی گئی، پھر میرے پاس نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے، میں نے آپ سے یہ ( واقعہ ) بیان کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”جو ان لڑکیوں کی پرورش سے دو چار ہو اس کے لیے یہ سب جہنم سے پردہ ہوں گی“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

Aishah said: A woman came to me with two daughters. She was asking (for food) but I did not have anything with me except a date. So I gave it to her and she divided it between her two daughters without eating any of it herself. Then she got up to leave, and the Prophet entered, and I informed him about her. So the Prophet said: Whoever is tested something from these daughters (and he/she passes the test), they will be a screen for them from the Fire.

Hadith 1897

Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father, from his grandfather who said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Who most deserves(my) reverence?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: I said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Then your father, then the nearest relatives, then the nearest relatives.'

Hadith 1898

Ibn Mas'ud said: I asked the Messenger of Allah: 'O Messenger of Allah! Which is the most virtuous of deeds?' He said: 'Salat during its appropriate time.' I said: 'Then what, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Being dutiful to one's parents.' I said: 'Then what, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Jihad in the cause of Allah.' Then the messenger of Allah was silent, and if I had asked him more, he would have told me more.'

Abdullah bin Amr narrated that: the Prophet said: The Lord's pleasure is in the parent's pleasure, and the Lord's anger is in the parent's anger. (Hasan).

Hadith 1900

Abu 'Abdur-Rahman As-Sulami narrated from Abu Ad Darda'.: He said that a man came and said : I have a wife whom my mother has ordered me to divorce. So Abu Ad-Darda said: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: 'The father is the middle gate to Paradise. So if you wish, then neglect that door, or protect it.'

Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah narrated from his father who said: The messenger of Allah said: 'Shall I not tell you of the biggest of the major sins?' they said : 'Of course! O Messenger of Allah!' He said: 'To join partners with Allah, and disobeying one's parents.' He said : He sat up, and he had been reclining. He said: 'And false testimony, or false speech.' And the Messenger of Allah would not stop saying it until we said (to ourselves): 'I wish that he would stop.'
