حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِ رَجُلٍ فَقَدَّمَهُ وَكَانَ إِمَامَ قَوْمِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَوَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْخَلَاءَ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْخَلَاءِ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَائِشَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَثَوْبَانَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏هَكَذَا رَوَى مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْحُفَّاظِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَى وُهَيْبٌ وَغَيْرُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَجُلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَرْقَمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالتَّابِعِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِهِ يَقُولُ أَحْمَدُ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَقُومُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَهُوَ يَجِدُ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْغَائِطِ وَالْبَوْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَا:‏‏‏‏ إِنْ دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَوَجَدَ شَيْئًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَلَا يَنْصَرِفْ مَا لَمْ يَشْغَلْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ:‏‏‏‏ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ وَبِهِ غَائِطٌ أَوْ بَوْلٌ مَا لَمْ يَشْغَلْهُ ذَلِكَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ.

عروہ سے روایت ہے کہ   عبداللہ بن ارقم رضی الله عنہ اپنی قوم کے امام تھے، نماز کھڑی ہوئی تو انہوں نے ایک شخص کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر اسے ( امامت کے لیے ) آگے بڑھا دیا اور کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: ”جب نماز کے لیے اقامت ہو چکی ہو اور تم میں سے کوئی قضائے حاجت کی ضرورت محسوس کرے تو وہ پہلے قضائے حاجت کے لیے جائے“۔

Hisham bin Urwah narrated from his father, (Urwah) from Abdullah bin AI-Arqam. : He (Urwah) said: While standing for the prayer he (Abdullah bin Al-Arqam) took a man by the hand leading him forward, he (Abdullah) was in front of the people, and he said: 'I heard Allah's Messenger say: When standing for the prayer and one of you finds that he has to relieve himself then let him relieve himself first.

Anas bin Malik said: When the Prophet entered the toilet he would say: 'O Allah Indeed I seek refuge in You.' Shu'bah (one of the narrators) said: Another time he said: 'I seek refuge in You from AI-Khubthi and al-Khablth.' Or: 'Al-Khubthi and Al-Khaba'ith.'
