حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ نَحْوَ هَذَا، وَقَدْ رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرُوا فِيهِ عَنْ وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِهِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: وَكَانَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ يُدَلِّسُ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، فَرُبَّمَا لَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنْ وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِهِ وَرُبَّمَا ذَكَرَهُ.
اس سند سے بھی سفیان سے اسی طرح مروی ہے، اور کئی لوگوں نے یہ حدیث بطریق: «ابن عيينة، عن الزهري، عن أنس» روایت کی ہے لیکن ان لوگوں نے اس میں وائل بن داود اور ان کے بیٹے کے واسطوں کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: سفیان بن عیینہ اس حدیث میں تدلیس کرتے تھے۔ کبھی انہوں نے اس میں «وائل بن داود عن ابنہ» کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے اور کبھی اس کا ذکر کیا ہے۔
