حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَرَّاقُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ: ابْنُ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَبَّرَ عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ، فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فِي أَوَّلِ تَكْبِيرَةٍ وَوَضَعَ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ، وَاخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ فِي هَذَا، فَرَأَى أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ، أَنْ يَرْفَعَ الرَّجُلُ يَدَيْهِ فِي كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ، وَهُوَ قَوْلُ: ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، وَالشَّافِعِيِّ، وَأَحْمَدَ، وَإِسْحَاق، وقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ: لَا يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِلَّا فِي أَوَّلِ مَرَّةٍ، وَهُوَ قَوْلُ: الثَّوْرِيِّ، وَأَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ، وَذُكِرَ عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ: لَا يَقْبِضُ يَمِينَهُ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ . وَرَأَى بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، أَنْ يَقْبِضَ بِيَمِينِهِ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ كَمَا يَفْعَلُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: يَقْبِضُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ.
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک جنازے میں اللہ اکبر کہا تو پہلی تکبیر پر آپ نے رفع یدین کیا اور دایاں ہاتھ بائیں ہاتھ کے اوپر رکھا۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- ہم اسے صرف اسی طریق سے جانتے ہیں، ۳- اہل علم کا اس مسئلہ میں اختلاف ہے، صحابہ کرام وغیرہم میں سے اکثر اہل علم کا خیال ہے کہ آدمی جنازے میں ہر تکبیر کے وقت دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے گا، یہ ابن مبارک، شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا قول ہے ۱؎، ۴- بعض اہل علم کہتے ہیں: صرف پہلی بار اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے گا۔ یہی ثوری اور اہل کوفہ کا قول ہے ۲؎، ۵- ابن مبارک کہتے ہیں کہ نماز جنازہ میں داہنے ہاتھ سے اپنے بائیں ہاتھ کو نہیں پکڑے گا، ۶- اور بعض اہل علم کہتے ہیں: وہ اپنے داہنے ہاتھ سے اپنے بائیں ہاتھ کو پکڑے گا جیسے وہ دوسری نماز میں کرتا ہے، ۷- امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ہاتھ باندھنا مجھے زیادہ پسند ہے۔
Abu Hurairah narrated: The Messenger of Allah said, 'Allahu Akbar' over the deceased, so he raised his hands with the first Takbir, and he placed his right (hand) over his left.

Thuwair [and he is Ibn Abi Fakhitah] narrated that : His father said: Ali took me by the hand and said: 'Come with us to pay a visit to Al-Hasan.' So we found that Abu Musa was with him.' Ali - peace be upon him - said: 'O Abu Musa! Did you come to visit (the sick) or merely (stop by to) visit?' He said: 'No, to visit (the sick).' So Ali said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: No Muslim visits (the sick) Muslims in the morning, except that sevety-thousand angels, sent Salat upon him until the evening, and he does not visit at night except that seventy thousand angels sent Salat upon him until the morning, and there will be a garden for him in Paradise.
