حَدَّثَنَا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: الشُّهَدَاءُ خَمْسٌ: الْمَطْعُونُ، وَالْمَبْطُونُ، وَالْغَرِقُ، وَصَاحِبُ الْهَدْمِ، وَالشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ . قَالَ: وَفِي الْبَاب، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، وَصَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، وَجَابِرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ، وَخَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ، وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ، وَأَبِي مُوسَى، وَعَائِشَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”شہید پانچ لوگ ہیں: جو طاعون میں مرا ہو، جو پیٹ کے مرض سے مرا ہو، جو ڈوب کر مرا ہو، جو دیوار وغیرہ گر جانے سے مرا ہو، اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں شہید ہوا ہو“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں انس، صفوان بن امیہ، جابر بن عتیک، خالد بن عرفطہٰ، سلیمان بن صرد، ابوموسیٰ اشعری اور عائشہ رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
Abu Hurairah narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: The martyrs are five: Those who die of the plague, stomach illness, drowning, being crushed, and the martyr in the cause of Allah

Thuwair [and he is Ibn Abi Fakhitah] narrated that : His father said: Ali took me by the hand and said: 'Come with us to pay a visit to Al-Hasan.' So we found that Abu Musa was with him.' Ali - peace be upon him - said: 'O Abu Musa! Did you come to visit (the sick) or merely (stop by to) visit?' He said: 'No, to visit (the sick).' So Ali said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: No Muslim visits (the sick) Muslims in the morning, except that sevety-thousand angels, sent Salat upon him until the evening, and he does not visit at night except that seventy thousand angels sent Salat upon him until the morning, and there will be a garden for him in Paradise.
