حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّانُ بْنُ تَمَّامٍ، وَمَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّائِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ الْأَسَدِيِّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَاتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ قَرَظَةُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَنِيحَ عَلَيْهِ فَجَاءَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا بَالُ النَّوْحِ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ عُذِّبَ بِمَا نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ . وَفِي الْبَاب:‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجُنَادَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَمُرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

علی بن ربیعہ اسدی کہتے ہیں کہ   انصار کا قرظہ بن کعب نامی ایک شخص مر گیا، اس پر نوحہ ۱؎ کیا گیا تو مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی الله عنہ آئے اور منبر پر چڑھے۔ اور اللہ کی حمد و ثنا بیان کی پھر کہا: کیا بات ہے؟ اسلام میں نوحہ ہو رہا ہے۔ سنو! میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: ”جس پر نوحہ کیا گیا اس پر نوحہ کیے جانے کا عذاب ہو گا“ ۲؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- مغیرہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عمر، علی، ابوموسیٰ، قیس بن عاصم، ابوہریرہ، جنادہ بن مالک، انس، ام عطیہ، سمرہ اور ابو مالک اشعری رضی الله عنہ سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

Ali bin Rabi'ah Al-Asadi said: A man died among the Ansar named Qarazah bin Ka'b, and he was being wailed over. So Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah came and ascended the Minbar. He uttered thanks and praise to Allah and said: As for the gravity of wailing in Islam, indeed I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: 'The one who is wailed over is punished as long as he is being wailed over.'

Thuwair [and he is Ibn Abi Fakhitah] narrated that : His father said: Ali took me by the hand and said: 'Come with us to pay a visit to Al-Hasan.' So we found that Abu Musa was with him.' Ali - peace be upon him - said: 'O Abu Musa! Did you come to visit (the sick) or merely (stop by to) visit?' He said: 'No, to visit (the sick).' So Ali said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: No Muslim visits (the sick) Muslims in the morning, except that sevety-thousand angels, sent Salat upon him until the evening, and he does not visit at night except that seventy thousand angels sent Salat upon him until the morning, and there will be a garden for him in Paradise.
