The Rawalpindi Ring Road project, under the supervision of Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatta, is progressing steadily and is poised to be completed within a year, marking a significant milestone for the region. The ongoing construction of this 38.3-kilometer-long road is being executed with great dedication to meet the specified timeline.

This project is of immense importance as it is set to feature five vital interchanges at Banth, Chak Beli Khan, Adiala Road, Chakri Road, and Thalian. Additionally, the establishment of industrial zones along the Ring Road will bolster economic prospects in the area, showcasing its potential as a public welfare initiative.

Commissioner Chatta addressed concerns regarding the project’s status and firmly stated that it is well on track, dispelling any doubts about its continuation. The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) plays a pivotal role in executing development projects for the city, and Commissioner Chatta acknowledged their swift progress in this regard.

The Rawalpindi Ring Road project is expected to alleviate the persistent issue of traffic congestion on city roads, providing residents in adjacent areas with improved mobility and access. This development promises to usher in a new era of growth and prosperity for Rawalpindi, with market linkages to economic zones and increased business opportunities for the local community among its many anticipated benefits.

In a separate announcement, Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatta issued a warning to citizens against investing in illegal housing societies. He urged individuals to verify the status of such societies on the official website of the RDA,?www.rda.gop.pk.

The Commissioner’s Office has launched a comprehensive operation against illegal housing societies, taking strict legal action against violators in accordance with the law. This initiative aims to protect the interests of citizens and maintain the integrity of housing investments in the region.
