With the successful launch of Rehbar-I, Pakistan gained recognition as the first underdeveloped nation to successfully launch a spacecraft in the Islamic world and South Asia. 

The Space Research Commission of Pakistan (SUPARCO) conducted sounding rocket launches as part of the testing and operations for Suparco’s spaceflight in order to develop high-altitude rockets for the nation’s space program. 


It is known that the exploration program may theoretically include elements of physics, atmospheric physics, and research of the current temperature gradients, wind velocities, and density of the upper atmosphere. 200 sounding rockets were created by Suparco between 1962 and 1972 when they were partially retired.
