Pakistan has received its second consignment of six J-10C fighter aircraft from China, which is being termed as ‘Dragon from the East’ by the Pakistani Air Force and the governments sole purpose of this trade was to maintain security balance.
The development was confirmed by Pakistan Strategic Forum, “Pakistani local media (92 News) has confirmed the delivery of additional (2nd Batch) 6x J-10C to Pakistan Air Force, which takes total delivered J-10C to 12. Earlier, serial no. 22-101 to 22-106 (6x J-10C) were delivered, now if report is correct it will be 22-107 to 22-112.”
Pakistan received the first batch of the powerful J-10C from China During the regime of Imran Khan earlier this year. At that time Khan remarked, “Unfortunately, efforts are being made to create an imbalance in the region, and to address this, a big addition has been made today to our defense system.”
Faisal Raza from the media cell reported, The second cape of J-10C has been landed on the operational airbase of Pakistan Airforce, resources have confirmed that the cape consists of 6 new jets which will we be added to the Pakistan Airforce operational use soon, J-10C is the latest multi-role, single-engine, 4.5 generation delta wing jet that has the multi-display and radar options that can be proved very beneficial for the operations of Pak air-force. J-10C is powered with P-8, P-10, P-12, and P-15 missiles.
Moreover, a ceremony was held at PAF Base Minhas Kamra in Punjab during which the first batch of fighter jets was officially inducted. This batch had the J-10C batch six jets with serial numbers 22-101 to 22-106.
The ceremony was attended by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan who also addressed at the event, It is a big addition to our defense system. I am thankful to China on behalf of our nation for providing these jets in a record time of eight months.
Then Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid had stated that the country will get a full squadron of 25 Chinese multirole J-10C fighter jets in response to India’s purchase of Rafale aircraft.
