For the Pakistani market, Kia Lucky Motor Corp. (KLMC) has teased a new version of its well-liked Sportage SUV. The new variant is known as “Black Edition” even though the manufacturer has not yet given it a name.
According to certain images posted online, the SUV will have black paint, wheels, a grille, and other decorative elements to give it a svelte and fashionable appearance. The caption, “Get ready for an experience as extraordinary as a black rose,” also provides information on the next model.
The ‘Black Edition’ is anticipated to offer the same level of performance and technology as the standard Sportage lineup, while specifics regarding the new variant’s characteristics have not yet been made public.
The same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a six-speed automated gearbox that generates 155 horsepower and 195 Newton metres (Nm) is probably going to be used in it.
Kia’s choice to launch a “Black Edition” model for the Pakistani market is puzzling given the country’s ongoing economic and operational problems and the country’s low sales at the moment. The demand for new cars has also suffered as a result of the price increases.
In comparison to its contemporary rivals, the Sportage is also beginning to feel a little dated. Public interest might rise with a light refresh.
