The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has recognised ibex (NASDAQ: IBEX), a top global supplier of business process outsourcing (BPO) and customer engagement technology solutions, with a Gold award in the Top Exporter category for BPO services. Additionally, ibex was acknowledged as one of Pakistan’s largest exporters of IT and IT-enabled services. On February 13, in Lahore, Pakistan, at the Annual Export Awards 2024 Ceremony, Dr. Umar Saif, the Federal Minister for IT and Telecom, presented the awards.
Recognising the role that the IT sector plays in the economic development of a nation, the Pakistani government established PSEB in 1995 with the goal of supporting the country’s IT sector by providing as much assistance as possible to software businesses operating in Pakistan as well as potential foreign and domestic investors. For the first time, the PSEB has honoured businesses that have grown their export revenue the fastest during the previous six months.
