At the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS), the Hyundai Stargazer made its debut in Thailand after making its debut in Indonesia in July. The Honda BR-V, Suzuki APV, and Toyota Rush are direct competitors of the three-row compact MPV.

Six seats, including two captain chairs in the second row, are found only in the Smart 6. The other versions, the Trend, Style, and Smart 7, all have seven seats with a bench in the second row.

The Trend’s base model includes ESC, VSM, ABS, hill start assist, brake assist, two airbags, speed-sensing auto lock, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. It also sports halogen headlights, LED taillights, electric-folding side mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels, fabric seat upholstery, manual air conditioning with rear air vents, four speakers, and a basic head unit.

The Style comes standard with larger wheels, a black chrome front grille, LED daytime running lights, automatic halogen headlights, front fog lights, a 4.2-inch Supervision TFT LCD multi-info display, keyless engine start (with remote capability), leather upholstery, a second-row armrest, and tray tables.

Cruise control, four drive modes (Normal, Eco, Sport, and Smart), USB ports, an 8-inch touchscreen head unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, two extra speakers, a reverse camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, rear occupant alert, and manual speed limit assist are also included in the same variant.

In all configurations, the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine produces 115 horsepower (hp) and 144 newton-meters (Nm). The CVT transmission used by Hyundai only drives the front wheels. Hyundai’s best-in-class five-year, 150,000-kilometer warranty is included with the MPV.

Hyundai Stargazer outperforms most of its competition because to its futuristic appearance and features.
