With the release of two new models, the Jetour X70 Plus and the Jetour Dashing, renowned Chinese automaker Chery’s subbrand Jetour is preparing to make a big splash in the Pakistani auto industry.
It is anticipated that these cars would introduce cutting-edge technology, outstanding performance, and contemporary styling to Pakistani customers, signifying a significant growth for the brand.
Jetour X70 Plus
The X70 Plus boasts a roomy and cosy cabin that was created with families in mind. With dimensions of 4724 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1720 mm in height, this SUV offers plenty of space for both people and goods. It can accommodate varying family sizes thanks to its adaptable seating arrangements, which include choices for 5 or 7 seats.
The 1.5L turbocharged SQRE4T15C engine underpins the X70 Plus, producing 230 N·m of torque between 1750 and 4000 RPM and 156 horsepower at 5500 RPM. Smooth and effective power distribution is ensured by the 6-speed manual gearbox (6MT) that is mated to the engine. With a 57-liter fuel tank and a claimed fuel economy of 13.3 km/liter, the car strikes a compromise between performance and fuel efficiency.

Modern technologies including Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Electric Power Steering (EPS), and a sturdy body construction for increased safety and stability are all included in the X70 Plus. With disc brakes on both ends, its suspension system consists of a front MacPherson independent suspension and a rear multiple-link independent suspension.
Jetour Dashing
The entry-level SUV Dashing blends performance, utility, and style. With dimensions of 4590 mm × 1900 mm × 1685 mm, it provides a small but spacious interior. The car has 160 mm of ground clearance and a wheelbase of 2720 mm.
This SUV can fit five people and has a baggage compartment that can hold up to 977 litres when the back seats are folded. Driven by a 1.5TCI Kunpeng engine, the Dashing produces 230 Nm of torque between 1750 and 4000 RPM and 154 horsepower at 5500 RPM. Along with meeting China VI B emission norms, it has a 6-speed manual gearbox (6MT).
Both EPS and EPB with auto-hold brakes are fitted on the Dashing. With solid disc brakes on the back and ventilated disc brakes on the front, the suspension system consists of a MacPherson independent suspension and a multiple-link independent suspension.
