The chairman emphasised that parking within the Metro building is completely prohibited.
Despite the notification, some bike riders have apparently attempted to park inside the Metro access facility, only to be halted by security personnel.
The Park & Ride service at Metro Stations is free and open to the public for parking vehicles. Parking is not permitted within the metro building. Because some bikers want to park their vehicles inside the station access building, security guards prevent them from doing so.
This has caused public confusion, prompting authorities to emphasise the importance of following parking regulations.
It is to mention that the Park & Ride facility was established for providing commuters with affordable and secure parking spaces for Metro service. The facility offers dedicated locations where commuters can park their automobiles and then quickly access the Metro station.
