Huma Fakhar, a renowned Pakistani businesswoman, has been nominated for the Global Woman Inspiration Award in the United Kingdom for her exceptional contributions to Pakistan’s corporate and social sectors.
The Global Woman Club organised the awards, which were announced on Saturday. The event is scheduled for July 17 in London.
Remarking on being chosen for the prestigious honour, the businesswoman said, “Deeply honoured to be nominated for the Global Woman Inspiration Award in the UK.”
Worldwide, a total of 12 women have been selected and will be awarded by Deepak Chopra and Madame Mir Elle. “The nomination is for being an inspiration for my work in Pakistan both as a business person and support in the social sector,” Huma Fakhar added.
It is to mention that the award category recognises a woman who has motivated and inspired others by overcoming barriers and making a good influence in her community.
She expressed gratitude to her loved ones for their support, “Thank you for the continued support of my family and friends.” Her selection for the Global Woman Inspiration Award reflects her dedication and impact in the commercial and social fields, where she has inspired others with her outstanding accomplishments.
Moreover, Fakhar is a co-author of the White Revolution Dairy Investments vision ‘Doodh Darya,’ which established corporate dairy farms in Pakistan and empowered over 500,000 women in the dairy sector. She has also fostered and trained entrepreneurship in Pakistani orphanages, particularly among girls?so that they can sustain themselves.
