Naila, Samina Become First Pakistani Women To Conquer Nanga Parbat

Nanga Parbat is one the most dangerous mountains in the world with the death probability of 21 percent, and Naila Kiani and Samina baig scaled the 8,125 high Nanga Parbat.  

According to Karar Haidri, the Secretary of Alpine Club of Pakistan, Naila Kiani and Samina Baig reached the peak of the mountain at 10.18 am and 11.08 am respectively. Other than these two women, Rizwan Dad, Wajid Nagri, Waqar Ali, Eid Muhammad, Ahmad Baig, Saeed Karim, Shah Daulat and Liaqat Karim also reached the peak on the same day. 


The Secretary of Alpine Club said on face book, “Numerous mountaineers and adventure fans all over the world are inspired by Niala Kiani’s unwavering resolve, unmatched abilities and unwavering attitude. Niala serves as a bright example of how people can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacle.” ? 


Naila kiani who is Dubai-based Pakistani banker and amateur boxer said, “Given the number of lives lost during this summit, I was filled with fear, yet fully determined to accomplish my mission. It brings me immense joy to have once again brought global pride to my beloved country.” 


Niala has recently achieved another award of reaching the world’s highest peak of Mount Everest which is 8,849 meters above the sea level. She also reached the peak of Mount Lhotse, the world’s fourth-highest mountain in the world which is 8,516 meter above the sea level.


Other than these peaks, The proud Pakistan woman also scaled Gasherbrum-II in 2021, Gasherbrum-I and K2 in 2022 and Annapurna-I I in 2023.
