Islamabad And Karachi Ranked Among World’s Cheapest Cities For Expats In 2022

Two cities of Pakistan, Islamabad, and Karachi have been listed as some of the cheapest cities in the world to live in for foreign workers in 2022. 


According to the living index for 2022, which was released by the US-based asset management firm Mercer, Islamabad and Karachi have been ranked the fourth and fifth cheapest cities for ex-pats, respectively. 


Interestingly, all the least costly cities on the list are the Muslim majority countries. Following is the list of the top ten least costly cities along with the countries for ex-pats in 2022, as per Mercer’s ranking:
