IMC said that this export supports the Pakistans Look Africa policy which aims at connecting Africa and Pakistan through the trade links.
The sources of the Motor Company said that this is more important that the deal with Toyota Egypt align with Auto Industry Development and Export Policy (AIDEP) 2021-2026. AIDEP focuses on the increasing export capabilities of Pakistan auto industry.
Auto parts and accessories exports industry has the big potential in international market. As per data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, Pakistans exports of auto part and accessories were around Rs.4.9 billion during the first eleven months of last fiscal year.
