National Assembly member and PMLN leader Muhammad Sajjad Awan said that the federal government approved funds for the district’s seven massive development projects.
Talking to the media, he said, “The federal government has earmarked funds for seven mega development projects, which were inaugurated by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit last year.”
Sajjad, the elder brother of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain (r) Mohammad Safdar, said it was a major accomplishment of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government that all mega development projects inaugurated by the PM were included in the current fiscal budget.
He stated that Rs1.6 billion had been set aside for the creation of a Basic Aerodrome under process facility and for the purchase of land for the Mansehra airport’s construction. ?“The government has set aside Rs4.72 billion for the construction of the Mansehra-Muzaffarabad Motorway,” he said.
According to the PMLN leader, the 27-kilometre highway would be finished with foreign finance and would bring prosperity and progress to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
He added that?Rs0.5 billion has also been approved for the development of the Tanawal interchange on the Hazara Motorway in Potha village, “The government has also approved Rs0.56 billion for the construction of a tunnel, which would link the Khaki area of Mansehra with Oghi town.”
Moreover, he stated that Rs1.7 billion had been authorised in the higher education sector for the improvement of academic and physical facilities at Hazara University.
