Govt Launches 15 Sch­emes Including 60,000 Internships, Training For 100,000 Youths

Govt to Launch Pakistan’s Largest Paid Internship Program For 60,000 Youngsters 


Under Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s vision, the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives has launched the Prime Minister’s Youth Development Initiatives to assist the country’s youth, who account for 64% of the total population. 


According to the sources, under the schemes, 15 programmes will be launched in March, including 


  • Ba-Ikhtiyar Naujawan Internship Program, 


  • PM’s Youth Laptop Program; 


  • 5,000 Scholarships for the students of Balochistan and Ex- FATA; 


  • 75 National Top Talent Scholarship Program; 


  • Establishment of Seerat Chairs; 


  • Development of Sub Campuses of Public Sector Universities in the Least Developed Districts of Pakistan; 


  • Youth Skills Training Program;
