Complete results of the nation’s General Election 2024, which was held on February 8, were released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Sunday.

The National Assembly (NA), the lower house of the nation’s parliament, saw 101 seats won by independent candidates, 75 seats going to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), led by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, and 54 seats going to the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, led by former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

17 seats were won by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan, 4 by the Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Pakistan, 3 by the Pakistan Muslim League, 2 by the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, and 1 by the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan, 1 by the Pakistan Muslim League (Zia-ul-Haq Shaheed), 2 by the Pashtoonkhwa National Awami Party Pakistan, 3 by the Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party, and 1 by the National Party.

After the nation held general elections on February 8 to choose a government for the ensuing five-year term, the ECP declared the outcome of 262 out of 266 seats for the NA.

A candidate passed away, therefore the nation’s electoral body declared a partial re-vote and postponed voting for one seat. They also kept the results of one seat unknown.
