China’s business group, Hexing Electrical Group, has informed the government of Pakistan of its intention to establish a new industry in the renewable energy sector.
Hexing Electrical Group’s chairman stated that his company employs 7,000 people and services 90 countries, with Hexing Group having factories in 20 different nations.
The establishment of Pakistan’s first inverter and battery manufacturing sector has garnered the interest of a Chinese investment firm. Pakistan’s developing electronics industry is expected to benefit from the proposed investment, which might lead to breakthroughs in technology and the creation of jobs. Leading a group to Islamabad, Liangzhang Zhou, the Chairman of the Chinese commercial behemoth Hexing Electrical Group, met with Abdul Aleem Khan, the Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Privatisation, and Communications.
The chairman of Hexing Electrical Group stated that his company employs 7,000 people and operates in 90 countries, with plants spread across 20 nations. It will also establish a factory in Pakistan along the same lines.
The federal minister was also briefed by Director of Sales Ma Zuoteng and CEO of Hexing Group Xu Guoneng about their investment plan in Pakistan. Junaid Hussain, Director of HR Europe at Hexing Group, shed insight on the group’s activities and the planned initiative.
In welcoming the proposal, Minister Khan emphasised Pakistan’s willingness to provide a favourable environment for foreign businesses. He underlined the investment’s possible advantages, which might improve the nation’s economic outlook by boosting exports and creating jobs.
In an effort to speed up the construction of these new industries, Khan told the Chinese delegation that all pertinent ministries and stakeholders will provide complete cooperation.
The minister hailed the proposed industrial transfer from China to Pakistan, describing it as a major development. He gave the Chinese business group his word that Pakistan will fully cooperate, highlighting the country’s appreciation of the investment and its intention to work with appropriate ministries and stakeholders to make the process easier.

Khan pointed out that more joint ventures show a great level of trust from Chinese investors in the wake of the prime minister’s recent visit to China. In addition to emphasising the value of foreign investment in Pakistan’s electrical sector, he pledged to serve as a goodwill ambassador for Chinese businessmen.
